During Democrats’ Government Shutdown, ICE Arrests the Worst of the Worst Criminal Illegal Aliens Including Pedophiles, Human Traffickers, and Other Violent Thugs

ICE law enforcement officers facing an 8000% increase in death threats against them

WASHINGTON — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) today announced the arrest of worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from across the country, including those with convictions for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14, trafficking an adult, aggravated assault with a weapon, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, and burglary.  

“The brave men and women of ICE law enforcement continue arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens despite facing an 8000% increase in death threats against them and the Democrats’ government shutdown,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Yesterday our brave law enforcement officers removed pedophiles, human traffickers, and other violent thugs. Nothing will stop us from making America safe again—not death threats or a government shutdown.”  

Yesterday’s arrests include:

Jose Luis Martinez-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico convicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 in Dallas County, Texas.

Mairelys Indhira Valdez-Nunez, a criminal illegal alien from Dominican Republic, convicted for trafficking an adult, pandering or permitting prostitution, keeping or maintaining a common nuisance, and conspiracy in Providence, Rhode Island.

Marcos Mejia-Portillo, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, convicted for aggravated assault with a weapon in Houston, Texas.

Roberto Peralta-Ibarra, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia, convicted for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine while on board a vessel subject to the jurisdiction of the United States in the Southern District of Florida.

Dan Pargas-Lira, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for burglary of habitation in Garland, Texas.
